Methodologies
Danbooru
Most of the data used to make the stats on this website is sourced from Danbooru. The set of Danbooru data I gathered is a snapshot frozen at posts and edits made up to around August 24, 2026, so that my graphs don’t slightly shift in value when I rebuild them. I may release this snapshot in the future so others can reproduce my numbers. If I update the snapshot, I’ll record when I do so.
I obtained the data for around 84% of Danbooru posts from this Huggingface dataset, which goes up to October 2025. The remaining posts were sourced from Danbooru’s official public API.
